Looks like plastic... Feels like plastic... But fear not! This most definitely is not plastic. How do we know? Because it biodegrades back into natural matter.
Crafted by master bakers using an ancient process as old as time, our wheat and rye sourdough bread is all about the grains. Shaped by hand and crafted with care. This creates a soft, bubbly, enticingly tangy centre, wrapped in a mouth-watering crust that packs a crunch. Our sourdough bread is the Swiss army knife of the bread world: versatile and equally sumptuous in a sandwich or soup as it is an upgrade on your beans on toast. It has a six-day shelf life and gets tastier the longer you leave it. Just make sure to keep it in its packaging. Looking to buy bread that goes against the grain when it comes to sustainability? Look no further. Our sourdough bread is delivered in home-compostable packaging, so you can enjoy some amazing toast knowing you’re doing your part to help the planet.
Our sourdough bread’s eco packaging: The best things come in sustainable packages, and that couldn’t be truer for our sourdough bread. It’s delivered in home-compostable packaging, which you can either pop into your home compost or normal waste bin – it'll decompose to leave no nasty microplastics behind.
Where does it come from? Our sourdough bread is crafted from start to finish by the master bakers at Bray. They’re considered high-quality craftsman for a reason and are BRC accredited, aka British standard A grade, which is the highest standard a British bakery can get.
What areas are they available in? The team at Bray Foods supply their delicious sourdough bread to doorsteps in the South of the UK and the Midlands.
