The main difference is texture and fat content. Double cream has 48% fat, compared with around 18% in single cream. Double cream is ideal for pouring over fruit and is thick enough to whip into peaks, unlike single cream, which won't whip and can curdle if added to hot dishes.
Our drivers work hard to make sure your double cream is on your doorstep at the start of the day. We'll deliver by 7:30am up to three times per week, so you don't need to worry about making any last-minute dashes to the supermarket.
