Our Red cheese is delivered to your doorstep in compostable packaging. That means you can toss it into your compost when you’re finished.

Where does it come from?

Our Red cheese comes from Longmans Cheese who are dedicated to supporting independent artisan cheesemakers across the UK. They’re all about sourcing responsible, ethical products, with only the highest standard of animal welfare.

Please note: You may notice your artisan cheese has some blue vein or discolouration around the edges – this is completely normal! Our cheeses are made by master artisans who excel in their craft. The blue veins and discolouration occur due to the cheeses being turned regularly during the maturation process.

This evenly distributes the moisture across the cheese. Sometimes, during this process, the cheese gets knocked or air gets in, which will cause some blue vein or discolouring. Again, this is completely normal and harmless, and your cheese is still tasty and delicious! Better still, our cheese is delivered in compostable packaging, so you can enjoy your cheese and crackers without any of the plastic waste.
