
The Fruity Kitchen began in Yorkshire, founded by Paula and Jon Briscoe after meeting at university in 1993. Following success with farm shops and pubs, a surplus of home-grown apples inspired Paula to create artisan jellies in 2006—initially for their own menus—and led to the birth of Briscoe’s Artisan Jellies .In 2015 they sold their pubs and dedicated themselves fully to small-batch, open-pan preserve-making in their Yorkshire kitchen. Their range—from fruity jams to savoury relishes—is crafted using traditional techniques that showcase pure, bold flavours.The Briscoes’ supplier journey is rooted in passion, provenance, and artisanal quality—preserving today’s flavour for tomorrow’s enjoyment.We're really proud to partner with them for our Modern Milkman branded jams.
We work with real farmers and a network of independent suppliers who provide fresh groceries. This allows us to keep supply chains short, treat everyone fairly and reduce unnecessary waste.
