Pioneering free-range egg production for 30 years, Geldard Farm Eggs was established by The Geldard Family, who settled at Lou Foulshaw Farm near Levens and Kendal in South Cumbria. Over time, they've expanded their mixed farming business across 530 acres, managing 1000 breeding sheep and a herd of 150 beef breeding cows, alongside their renowned egg operation. The farm proudly holds RSPCA certification and British Lion Quality accreditation, with John Geldard's significant contributions to agriculture recognized at the 2019 British Farming Awards. Embracing sustainability at every turn, The Geldard Family employs low-emission vehicles, harnesses solar power, and cultivates herbal grasses. They're committed to environmental initiatives, including tree planting, hedgerow restoration, and creating wildlife corridors. Their eggs are widely acclaimed for exceptional quality and freshness throughout the region. Geldard Farm Eggs exemplifies agricultural excellence, blending tradition with innovative sustainability practices. They're not just providing superior taste but also leading the way in responsible farming practices that are truly egg-ceptional!
