Yockenthwaites

There is a point in history where the Hird family were farming sheep just a dozen miles up the road from their neighbours, the Brontes, who at the time were nose-deep in writing their literary classics.

In the hundreds of years since, Yockenthwaite Farm has reached wuthering new heights, producing a delicious range of traditional, natural cereals, and even featuring on Channel 5’s All Creatures Great and Small, as the home of character Helen Alderson.

It all started with their homemade granola recipe, which they made for visitors staying overnight on the farm. But once the Hirds heard that their herd wasn’t the only thing guests marvelled at, breakfasts became their new passion.

Based in a small hamlet in the Yorkshire Dales, the farm has big plans to transform British brekkies with their freshly-rolled, fibre-rich, wholegrain oats. Packaged in plastic free, compostable, nature flex, their unprocessed, natural cereals include Real Oaty Granola, Nutty Spelt Granola and Real Oaty Porridge.
