Proven Goods

Proven Goods are one of Newcastle’s most famously beloved bakers. Every week, hordes of Geordies trek across the toon and linger in long lines to get a taste of their “insanely good” sweet treats. And for good reason! 

Each of Proven Goods’ “worth the wait” cookies and brownies are handmade from scratch using high-quality, UK-grown ingredients and local suppliers from the heart of Newcastle. They use Northumbrian free-range eggs and Acorn Dairy Milk from the Northumbrian Dales. 

Crowned the “best in the North East”, Proven Goods produce nothing but “absolute perfection” from their Houlds Yard café. And Newcastle locals know the score. Here’s a taste of what their many (many, many, many) fans have to say:
